I hadn't realized that Scholastic was promoting the Obama agenda, but this video, made by a mom just like me, makes it clear. My kids are always bringing home Scholastic book club forms, and I've even ordered from them thinking that they were simply a clearing house for kid-friendly books that offers lower prices than the book stores. Obviously, they have an agenda too. The Obama agenda.

Omnipresent Obama

This is a great column by L. Brent Bozell. While President Obama spread himself thin across the Sunday talk show lineup, ABC, CBS, CNN, and NBC all skipped the questions we all have for Mr. President about the most urgent and newsworthy topics -- His socialist agenda, circumventing the constitution, protests against the administration, etc. The most telling line from this post:

"This president is starting to lie with disturbing regularity."

But I must disagree! He's been lying regularly for years.

A Secret White House Power Grab Is In Full Swing

This excellent article by Phil Kerpin and reported on the Fox News Web site explains how, in light of the president's "special advisors," Congress and the bills they propose are becoming less and less relevant. The White House is going ahead with its agenda by circumventing our constitutional legislative process. Cap and Tax, here we come.

I think this article is mistitled. It's no secret that the whole "czar" system is a government outside of the constitution, intended to do just what it is doing -- circumventing the constitution. We must do something about it!

This is lunacy at its best. What would have happened if the government had "bailed out" the buggy makers when the automobile makers started selling a better product? Do you think we would have buggies still competing with cars today? Of course not!

I was taught in Junior High School that the purpose of the media in a “free and democratic society” like the United States is to objectively report all sides of the issues, allowing the electorate to form opinions for themselves based on the facts. Editorial opinions, in such a context, are reserved for a specially identified location in the newspaper and to a clearly identified place in the news broadcast. You have clearly violated the journalistic principles that I was taught years ago and have turned your broadcasts into propaganda tools of the present administration, whose policies I find abominable.
